I have changed to W7 and find it very obstructing.I have tried to add Nimitz-Ike/Carriers 2/Tracks no problem.They appear in FSX. But for the life of me I cannot download any aircraft.My procedure is to go to Programme Files (x86)/sim objects/aircraft. Place aircraft in that file and then Grant Admin full control, the same with Sound/Effects etc. Nothing appears in FSX. All I get is F14 initialsation failure.I have the addons/window,I get the aircraft carriers,position,start stop but no aircraft on deck.Very frustrating.Can anybody help?????? :( Zorba1 :(

Aircraft will not show properly if you it is not installed properly or all the components are not included in the installation. Check the aircraft.cfg for the aircraft in question and make sure textures, modeling, gauges, and sound are included. I had problems once when I misnumbered the aircraft in the aircraft.cfg (i.e., fltsim 0; fltsim 1; etc.). And made sure you use the numerical 0 or 1 instead of the letters o or l. Best regards,Jim
