In the realism menu, on the top right corner is the display flying tips checkbox. I had to hunt and hunt to find it....

I hunted as well untill i found that, IT DROVE ME NUTS!! lol.

Hi there; Anyone know how to turn off the Flying Tips, which opens a box telling you how to start your engine, etc., when in the cockpit? I've turned off 'Cockpit Tool Tips' in the Settings page, but these things still pop up. I looked in the FS9.cfg, but couldn't find anything.BTW, in order to avoid having to go hunting for the 'FS9' files for the .cfg, plus the 'Flight Simulator Files' file in My Documents for the saved flights, I just made a shortcut to each of these, and placed them in the main 'Flight Simulator 9' file. Another Thank You from me. I came here just to find the answer to this. I looked at that screen several times and missed that check box. Would have found it quicker if they had tried to hide in the middle of something else. LOL
