March 6, 201016 yr I'm running FSX with Acceleration Pack on Windows 7 64 bit - my system is quick (12GB RAM, quad core, Radeon 5800 graphics card) and runs FSX pretty well. I had a lot of add ons from Aerosoft and bought PMDG MD-11 last week. All installed ok and asked me the usual security questions which I said yes to. When I load up the aircraft it loads with black display panels and there is no add on menu in the FSX menu bar. I received some support from PMDG which said how to get a clean config and XML file - I followed the instructions but it made no difference. I'm awaiting a reply on this as we speak.I also clean installed FSX with only the PMDG add on and still no add on menu or panel info. I also purchased the 747 from PMDG and exactly the same thing happens! All my other add ons have worked fine historically and this is becoming frustrating now!! I've searched for info regarding missing add on menus in FSX but I just can't figure it out. Does anyone have any ideas? I ran a simconnect diagnosis and received the following info in case it helps:0.00000 SimConnect version 10.0.61259.00.01965 Server: Scope=local, Protocol=Pipe, Name=\\.\pipe\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimConnect, MaxClients=640.02604 Server: Scope=local, Protocol=IPv6, Address=::1, Port=51767, MaxClients=640.02957 Server: Scope=local, Protocol=IPv4, Address=127.0.0.1, Port=51768, MaxClients=640.16871 DLL Failed to load.
