Mixing differant types of UK airports togather

Recommended Posts

THis is now on the Avsim Forum main page:"British Airports for FS2004 have been available in boxed format for many years and have proved a must have for many FS users. We have now made these great-value packages available in download format." These scenery packages were developed by UK airport specialist Gary Summons - originally for FS2002 & FS2004 - and provide a great selection of airports in each area, ranging from small local airfields to international airports such as Stansted, Manchester & Heathrow.Volumes 1 & 2 - East & South-East England (61 airports)Volumes 3 & 4 - South, South-West & Central England (64 airports)Volumes 5 & 6 - Wales, West Midlands & Northern England (69 airports"Here's the question. I have the biggerr, more detailled Airports of Heathrow and Manchester that do have AES support. Can you also install some of the airports in the above packages and will they all work togather when some of them have AES support but most of them probably do not have AES support? What happens if I installed all of the above airport s OVER the top of the two big ones that I already have installed that do have AES support? Thanks jerrycwo4

Jerry,I have all mentioned British Airports volumes AND the UK2000 airports incl. some with AES. What you should do is: after you have installed the new British Airports volumes you have to put these lower in the FS9 scenery hierarchy (and AES at the top of this hierarchy). All should work just fine, I know it does for me.Regards, Eric
