Question for those running Windows XP

Featured Replies

I am trying to squeeze every ounce of speed I can out of my system and have two questions: First, if I use msconfig and turn off some of the "services" that Windows XP shows to be running, will it improve speed at all? and second, does anyone here have knowledge about what is safe to turn off and what should be left alone? Thanks in advance for any constructive help. :-)

In the case of turning on and off services this page might be of help :)http://www.blkviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htmFor anyone, this is what would be called for more expertedly users so a bit of cation is in order.

Thanks, looks like exactly what I was looking for. :-wave
