Can we replace the 2D cloud textures in FS2004?

Featured Replies

Hello!First, let me say that I think FS2004 is a big improvement over FS2002.I do have a question about the clouds. I can use the 3D clouds sometimes and still get OK results for the frame rates and smoothness on my slower PIII 1GHZ system. But to get the best performance, setting the clouds at 2D is still the best option on my system. So, I was wondering if any of you know if I would be able to use a program like FS Sky World, or just the textures from the program, to "update the apperance of the 2D clouds?I like the way that the FS Sky world clouds look in FS2002 and thought they might be a good replacement for the 2D clouds in FS2004.Or is this not an option due to the "re-work" of the weather system and clouds in FS2004COF?What do you think? Thanks for the input!Scott :-)ATP/CFII - KCOS, in the real avaiton world.
