March 23, 201016 yr There is a VAC that has been around for years (www.vacanada.org) but they no longer respond to emails or to requests for rating upgrades. I tried for months to get someone there to answer me about some issue with my logbook, no reply. Just another example of total automation gone wrong. March 24, 201016 yr Could be a conflict of interest not to mention legal issues, especially as Virtual Air Canada already exists regardless if they answer e-mail messages or not. VATSIM: P2 | I1
March 25, 201016 yr Author Virtual Air Canada is nearly defunct. As AirFresnoVirtualAirlines stated, it takes months to even get in touch with a single staff member. They are no longer affiliated with Vatsim either. We also have no legal issues with Air Canada. Our domain will be www.AirCanadaVA.org
March 25, 201016 yr Virtual Air Canada is nearly defunct.Nearly defunct and even if they don't respond to your email message doesn't mean that they don't still own the name and other associated copyrights.Don't get me wrong guys, it would be great to see another Canadian VA in the virtual skies, just make sure you have everything legally covered on your end. It would be a shame to do all that hard work, only to be forced to make major changes or shut down, because of legalities. VATSIM: P2 | I1
