FS2004 GREAT Sim - (but really lousy clouds)

Featured Replies

Hi:I know that MS is pointing with pride to the clouds in FS2004/FS9/COF as well they should, they are gorgeous. I love them. But --- (here it comes) When using Real Weather; both the "static" and "update every 15 minutes" version, the clouds come out of the earth. I see several posts about that fact and I also see how some people are doubting that that is a bug, or if it actually happening at all.It is happening, and it is ruining every flight I take with FS2004.Yes, (sigh) I have the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro card. I am eagerly awaiting for the smart simmers here to come up with a fix for this aggravating cloud situation.Everything else in FS2004 runs like a champ on my machine. No flickers, no stuttering, just smooth as silk.Regards,Don SPentium 4 - 2.8Ghz1024MB SDRAM1218MB ATI Radeon 9800G PRO160GB HarddriveWindows XP Home
