Wx Config

Featured Replies

When using the Wx Config, I want to take the visibility on the ground below 1SM. I have tried to put it in as 1/2 and 1/4 but it doesn't seem to read it correctly in FSX. Am I doing something wrong or is this not yet possible within the Wx Config? Thanks,

Hi,Not sure which program you are using so I'll respond from looking at my ASE program screen. In ASE you can enter those 2 fractions in the Visibility---Range window and then METAR should reflect that new value. Also entering 0.50 or 0.25 in that window will work as well. Now, if you are not using ASE, please let me know which AS program and I'll gladly look into things for you.

Sorry about that, using ASE here. I just tried inputing 0.5 into the visibility box and it won't let me put a period ( . ) in the box.

Hi,Are you putting the leading zero in first?

Yep

Hi,OK, use a fraction first, click on the Parse Metar Icon, then modify any value to the right of the decimal. Do not delete the decimal.
