HiFirst of all let me say wow what a fantstic progect TileProxy is.Ok am having a few problems.I just cant get the tiles to load fast enough. while in flight am only getting an avarage of around 25 tiles per second. allthough preloading can peek at upto 1000 per second.Ive read all the tutorials and tryed many diffrent configerations from LOD12 to LOD15 but still get the same 25 tile per sec. the sim runs great it just wont load fast enough while in flight.I have a low spec machine so is it my cpu is just too slow???? just wondering cuz normaly i can run fsx at a smooth 21fps at 1920x1080x32. it runs the same with tp but its just that 25 tiles per sec wont change? heres my specs.......dont laugh lolAmd athlon 64 3500+ 2.2ghz1.2gig ddr 1ati 4670 hd 1gig ddr 3windows xp 32bit sp3Fsx sp2I have fsx and tp installed on a second hard drive and not the same drive as the O/SAnyone help? is there somthing wrong with my system setup somwhere or am i just flogging a dead horse? I know your gunna recormend a duel core pc but just wonderd if there was anyway to improve what i have?Regards zappa :)

The speed of the aircraft you are using plays a big role, as tiles need to be downloaded and converted accordingly. The faster the aircraft, the worse the situation.Assuming you are caching the data, try this simple test: fly from point A to point B (let's see 100 nm in between) with an ultralight then repeat the same flight with a jet aircraft and see what happens, you can get different results:1) good experience with the jet and good experience with the ultralight --> this is pretty much okay. Your computer can cope in real-time with an ultralight and by caching, even with faster aircrafts2) bad experience with the jet and good experience with the ultralight --> your computer is not good enough for fast aircraft: stick with GA planes and you should be fine3) bad experience with the jet and bad experience with the ultralight --> either your computer and/or the internet connection you are using can't cope with TP.Fast aircrafts do represent an huge problem. I have a Quad Core, 8 Gbytes of RAM, two fast HDs and a very good internet connection, however when flying aircrafts such as an F-14D and firewalling the engines, I get blurred imagery unless I have cached the data before.Hope this will help,Paolo

Thanks.Ive been only flying with defualt cessna 172. From what i can see my system wont load the tiles fast enough, its only showing 25 tiles per sec on the tp batch file when im in flight.your probaly right my system is too slow. just expected more than 25 tiles ps. so just wonderd if i was missing somthing. on preload it loads upto 900 per sec. Thanks for your reply :) Zappa

You could try to gain something by offloading FSX (reduce traffic, weather visibility/complexity, screen resolution and so on) but from what I can see, your system is severely RAM limited, I wouldn't be surprised to the swap file being used with TP and FSX running.Paolo

yes the swap file is being used big time just running fsx without TP, its not good i know. more ram and duel core plz :) TP looks amazing if i pause and reload sceanery! oh well looks like im out of options realy. thanks for help :) Zappa
