August 2, 200322 yr Hi,I have flown IFR into Martha's Vineyard, laGuardia and JFK and the ILS lines me up about 15 degrees off the intended runway... FS2002 was always right on the mark. Embarrassing to land my DC-10 on the Starbucks in Terminal B. Anyone else experience this? If so, is there a way to fix it? Thanks.:(
August 3, 200322 yr Just flew the ILS into KMVY in dense fog and dropped out right over the numbers. The ILS seems right as rain. I suspect a compatibility problem with your DC-10.
August 3, 200322 yr You are right. KMVY is correct. If you have time, try flying into KJFK or KLGA. Please let me know your results. If I remember correctly, KJFK was also a problem with FS2K2. Thanks.
August 3, 200322 yr Which runway though? I remember this subject coming up for FS2002 - the outcome of which was that there are runways at KJFK with an offset localizer.Note here, the 22R localizer is at the far end of the runway and off to the left. The localizer heading is 222, but the runway heading is 225.
