I upgraded for the security issues cited in Microsoft's site.... I wasn't having any real performance or display issues with DirectX 9.0a, so 9.0b seems no different. But if you surf the web, I strongly suggest applying the upgrade... Even on dial-up, it only took an hour to apply it...Regards,John

Security issues as in "severe security breach can make hacker obtain control of ur pc..blablabla" that kinda bolony lol. But for all instances I guess its a good idea to stay on top and upgrade :)
