April 13, 201016 yr Well I was having this problem and I found out how to fix it so I decided to share with you guys who might having the same problem how to fix it. The problem was that sometimes the window were freezing. I had sound and everything on the background but the image was frozen. I'm using Windows 7 but I saw many people with Vista having the same problem and perhaps with FSX as well. How to fix it: Right click on the FS9 icon; Properties; Compatibility; "Deactivate desktop composition" (or something like that). And that's it! :( Regards,Patrick Cramer
April 13, 201016 yr Thanks for refreshing the old known method. I think this has been mentioned on many occasions. Not only as a cure for freezes, but also various other problems. Though I must say, since I have latest drivers etc, my Win7x64 doesn't need any compatibility mode.
