May 6, 201016 yr From manual of ASE: Use Local Range Suppression (FS9): Select this option to suppress weather updates inside a certain range of the aircraft. This option is only available in FS9, and prevents graphical cloud shifts during updates. The weather you fly into is updated, but the weather around your visible area is kept the same.Well, it does not work! When you get to about 30nm from the destination, ASE makes update and the clouds disappear!
May 7, 201016 yr Hi,Was the destination weather actually clear, and so that was the weather that was shown?
May 7, 201016 yr Hi,Was the destination weather actually clear, and so that was the weather that was shown?Jimplease stop with these questionsNo, the sky, metar, map, give clouds!Suddenly, near the destination, where ASE has reached the last update, all the clouds disappear! As if something is ordered to FSUIPC to push the button "all weather off.Perhaps the problem is just that.
May 8, 201016 yr Hi,When you give just bits and pieces of information, I have little information to use to answer and so I must ask questions of you to find out. When this happens again, I would like to see a screen shot of the Report Screen in ASE and a view of the weather in FS.
