FS-MP multiplayer server evolving

Recommended Posts

For a VATSIM alternative check out the FS-MP multiplayer server which is always evolving. The current airport is KLAX ( Los Angeles ) and recently there have been multiple controllers serving different Southern California airports with many pilots logged in. The session base airport moves around the country from time to time.See the FS-MP website at http://www.fs-mp.com/pilots/index.html Check out the sections at the website for:1. Session Information - FSX settings - General Information on how to set FSX, before you join the FS-MP MP Session.2. Information for pilots - New pilots to the server must read this section. You are expected to file a flight plan.3. Information for controllers - New ATC controllers must read this section.Heed the big RED warning box. :-)Notes:Check out pilots in session overlaid on Google Maps at: http://map.fs-mp.com/status/aSet.htmlSession audio is provided and you can listen in. This seems to work best for me using Firefox browser.Enjoy,Jim

More interesting, just check out their Online, REAL TIME "Google map"http://map.fs-mp.comYou can see all the planes in the session flying, and even HEAR the ATC and pilots, over streaming audio.Open 365/24/7, the FS-MP session in GAMESPY, is unique, in that if often has 20-30 players, and is ORGANIZED, unlike so many of the other Gamespy sessions.
