This isn' new to 2004 but on trike gear planes the rudder response is not only delayed but disporportionate and rotation of the plane doesn't result in a directional change of the aircraft.

Hi,I beleive you'll find what you need to do is use differential braking by using the 'F11' and F12' keys. Takes a little getting used to, as do a number of things with a new version of Flight Simulator. But I think that is the answer you are looking for. At any rate, I hope that helps.Regards
