A friend has bought the latest x-plane (I still have 6.21 .. ;) ), and he says that he doesn't get a heading tape on the HUD.He sent me a screenshot, and I didn't see it either.There *is* a "half-circle" in the middle of the HUD (bank indicator ?).Is there supposed to be a heading tape?Is there a setting to turn it on? ... Or can it be modified with plane-maker / use an alternative HUD with heading tape ?Mike

I guess most virtual pilots are using the instruments from the panel of their aircraft, or they're using an autopilot and sometimes even the GPS or a FMS.But if you want an aircraft with a cool HUD and a readable heading tape, just fly this beauty:http://www.jrollon.com/Javelin.htmlHappy flying. :(
