May 22, 201016 yr LICC (also LICA) has 2 different metars. Why? What are these? What is the difference? Thanks
May 22, 201016 yr Hi,TAFRgdsReinhardThanks Reinhard,I suspected this. Then, the serious problems with ASE could not come out of this?In ASv6.5, the TAF is an option unchecked by default ..... and ASv6.5 works very well."TAFs can apply to a 9- or 12-hour forecast; some TAFs cover an 18- or 24-hour period; and as of November 5, 2008, TAFs for some major airports cover 30 hours periods."
May 23, 201016 yr Hi,TAF data is not used at all by ASE. It is there for informational purposes only.Yes, those are all the same hour's METARs. With ASE if a data station updates its data between regular hourly update cycles, then the ASE data servers will pick up the new data and have it for you. Yes this is different than with ASv6.5.
