August 10, 200322 yr I never noticed this in 2002, but in 2004, in the default 737, as I fly my AP adjusts the rudder trim gradually to the left so that, by the time I need to descend, the trim is well off to the left. Under certain circumstances that may be fine, but it happens all the time, always to the left, regardless of location, altitude, weather, etc. Any thoughts on what's up?Boyd Barker, Senior Command CaptainDirector of Special Projects & KBOS Hub ManagerWestWind Airlines
August 10, 200322 yr Yes will happen randomly if you use AP and AT-especially on B737. Check at that time the N1 reading of the two engines-they'll differ and thats why the rudder left to correct it. Don't know the reason yet...first let's compile the bugs then we'll try and figure them out.
