June 27, 201015 yr Hi community,I have a problem with the transparencies on the classic liners 747 which I have ported over to FSX. It's weird, because it does not happen to any of the other aircraft in the package. There appears to be a "diagonal mesh" flickering over the outside of the glass very quickly, and as a result, it is distracting. You can still see through, but like I said, it distracts you. I am very confused, because all of the other aircraft are fine.I copied the texture, and then edited it through dxtbmp to the same settings as the texture for the 727, and modified the Alpha channels to match, but the problem is still there. I've also had a look through the effects files to see if there may be anything related, but I cannot see anything even remotely close. If my memory serves me, in FS9, there appeared to be a visible "slipstream" effect over the windshield, but again, I can find no reference to this. I am at my wits end here, I Love the classic 747 and want to fly it.Has anybody else seen this issue please? I know this package is for FS9, but it is just as good in FSX.Andrew. Kind regards, Andrew.
