I've just made a new install of FS9 and hear no ATC voices. All other sounds are OK, and I have all the default selctions for ATC sounds etc.Has anyone had this problem - I've done a few searches and haven't found anything. I also have FS2002 installed and that is OK.ThanksDave

Same problem here.Try press "Q" to toggle sound on and off, sometimes the ATC sound comes back and you lose engine sound. It also changes randomly when i changes view... VERY annoying.I reduced the directx soundcard accerelation from max to normal, that seemed to help a little.

I have discovered that my ATC & ATIS sounds actually are there, however they are so dim that even with all other sounds off you can barely hear them.All sound volumes etc are up, engine/environment sounds are all normal, it's just ATC & ATIS that are barely audible.Has anyone come across this?Dave
