July 14, 201015 yr It seems that ever since I installed sp2 (which I needed for Traffic X) I get a sporadic condition with the winds aloft where the wind speed and direction shift rapidly back and forth a few MPH/degrees. Example: the wind will be 240/25; the wind direction will oscillate rapidly from 240-241-242 degrees, and back to 240 and then repeat this pattern. Likewise, the wind speed will change, or oscillate rapidly, from 25-27 or 25-26, back and forth very rapidly. This has the effect of causing small, but noticeable, "gyrations" in the aircraft while in flight. It's not a continuous problem and it will sometimes stop on its own for a while and then sometimes re-occurs during the flight. I don't think it's a problem unique to any particular weather server because it's happened when I have downloaded the stock FSX real weather from Jeppesen, the FSMeteo server and now, the wx server that's associated with Active Sky Evolution. So I'm fairly certain it's being generated by FSX and not the wx server. I have the registered version of FSUIPC and made some adjustments with this program, but I still haven't had any luck with this particular issue. I'm not sure if sp2 is the cause of this problem but I don't recall it happening before I installed sp2. Anyone notice this and know what causes it?Thanks.Bob
