Have not spent much time with this sim yet - has anyone found any areas of lift? The new weather engine does not apparently model thermals or ridge lift - and the sailplane flights from 2002 are gone.Slew mode the only way to get up?

Found no defult thermal or ridge lift. But all the adon thermals and ridge lift I've moved over from to COF that was made with Thermiek works fine.Thermiek can be found here http://www.fszwever.com/and check out this site for some scenery files you can add that will give thermal/ridge lift. http://virtualsoaring.org/goto.htmlThe defult swcheizer is a blast to fly. I have found that a lot of add on Gliders will work well, but most have gauge errors and loose the ability to trim out the elevator.
