High Altitude haze issue resolved

Featured Replies

FSX SP2ASE build 572FSUIPC4 registered.Today I made a flight from KPHX to KLGB in the Epic Victory at FL250. Prior to the flight, I made sure that DWC/Smoothing and Enable visibility graduation and smoothing were OFF, in ASE, and saved these selections. I also pressed the Refresh AI aircraft button prior to the flight. In FSUIPC, I have wind smoothing function "ON".I did not have the haze/low vis problem with the above criteria. To confirm that DWC was causing the problem, I turned DWC, and the visibility smoothing option, back on during the flight, and the white out/haze immediately appeared. I then disabled these items and, after a few minutes, the visibility returned to normal.Having DWC off caused no problems with the wx that I saw and the winds, temp, sky condition at KLGB were in sync with the actual METAR from the NWS.Bob
