Hello FSXers,I have a rather unusual question:Does anyone know how to remove the red cross that appears by default when you're in Top Down view? I didn't find anything in FSX.cfg.TIA,Steve

Did some searching around and couldn't find anything on it either.Would be curious about this one myself.

From the top of my head (can't check it right now) but when you right-click on the screen, don't you get a pop-up menu with some options in which you can turn that off? It's the same menu in which you can set if you want the view to be up north or that the plane should point to the top all the time. If you know what I mean. I do somehow remember there was an option for that cross somewhere out there.

J van E,I just checked and I can find a menu for the Axis Indicator, but nothing to disable that darn red cross.It was definitely worth a try though. Thanks.Steve
