September 14, 201015 yr As of late I've experienced a problem where VOXATC tells me that an IFR flight plan that I have created is VFR. Here's what I do: 01. Create an IFR flight plan with FSBuild or Simroutes , with a SID/STAR. 02. Start FSX. 03. Load flight plan into FSX flight planner. 04. Press Fly now. 05. Once the flight has loaded I go to the file menu and click 'save' to name and save the flight. 06. Exit FSX. 07. Load the flight into VoxATC SID/STAR to make adjustments. At this time I receive an error stating that the flight plan is not IFR. I've opened the flightplan with notepad and verified that it is indeed an IFR flight.Any help will be appreciated.Thanks... Bud

BudBud,I assume that you start your flight from the saved file?I use almost the same procedure as you do, but I use FS Commander as Flight planner. You should try creating a similar flight plan with the default FSX flight planner to eliminate the possibility that VoxATC does not read your flight plan from FSBuild/SimRoutes correctly. I have only seen this error you experience, when VoxATC does not read the flight plan correctly and therefore assumes that it is a VFR flight.
