August 24, 200322 yr >Is there any software available that can open a gauge file so>you can modify it?>Thanks in advance. What type of gauge? There are .gau (C gauges) and .cab (compressed XML gauges). If .cab type, you can simply "unzip" the .cab and use a text editor to modify the XML code, and most any paint program to modify/change the bitmaps. You can then either leave the gauge elements un-cabbed in a named sub-folder of the FS9Gauges folder, or use one of the many CAB utility programs to recompress the files. If you're asking about .gau files, then define "modify." If all you want is to modify graphics, FS Panel Studio will allow you to do that (most of the time). If you're asking about modifying the behavior of a gauge, then the answer is no, since .gau files are compiled C code.BillAVSIM OmbudsmanFounder and Director,Creative Recycling of Aircraft Partshttp://catholic-hymns.com/frbill/FS2002/images/fartslogo.jpg
