Does TrackIR affect driving etc in real life?

Recommended Posts

Hi!Im taking my driving licence in a couple of weeks, i wonder if TrackIR could affect my driving in any way? I mean, if i get very use to use TrackIR in flight sim, shouldn't it affect me when im driving and im trying to look around for traffic?Games do affect people, a friend of mine played a truck game, the game took place in Australia ant they are driving on the left side over there, just like in England. As he was going to take a ride in the car (IRL), he drived out on the left side, which was the wrong side of the road of course, and he noticed what he was doing about a sec after. :PSo TrackIR users, have you ever experience any negative things by using it?

Indeed! When traffic crawls to a stop on the highway I often find myself pulling the steering wheel towards me, but nothing happens... :-(But no, I drive and use IR4, and I don't see my driving affected (though panning is a lot smoother in the car! :-)All the best on your upcoming driving test.Cheer,- jahman.
