Saitek X-52 without 3d twist

First post so hi allI can buy quite cheaply Saitek X-52 joystick without fully functional twist (read impossible to use ;). So my question is: is it worth to buy it? Is it possible to set rudders to different key or control (not pedals) and have enjoyable flight? I would like to use this joy in fsx, lockon FC2, dcs black shark and maybe other sims.I am new to the sim world so any help will be appreciatethx in advance rgdsroszman
