Grass around airports

Featured Replies

I believe I may have inadvertently done something to make the grassy area around airports dissappear in fs 2004.Now I have city textures bordering on runways - help!I have checked the scenery library to see if there was a general airport layer which I could give priority, bu there does not seem to be one.The only landclass file I have installed are local, but I seem to have lost the grassy area for all airports.Hope someone knows a fix.Otherwise I am enjoying this sim very much. It took a lot of tweaking and some upgrades, but the sim is running as well on my system now as fs 2002 once did(12-15fps and looking much, much better than fs2002)AMD Duron 1.3ghz512MB PC133 RamGeforce FX 5200 128mbSoundblaster Live!3OGB HDWin ME

Check your FS9.cfg file under the Graphics section, see if this line is set at =1.TERRAIN_USE_VECTOR_MAP=1Kurt M

Kurt,THANK YOU!TERRAIN_USE_VECTOR_MAP was set at 0 in FS9.cfg. I must have changed it by accident. I changed it back to 1 and all is good!Thank you also again for your tip on how to keep bridges at the sparse autogen setting!YOU DA MANN!I love this sim, I love the FS Community, I love the labour day weekend (lots of time for flight simming)!Good Tailwinds,Daniel CYCW
