When i boot up fs 9, a diag box tells me I do not have proper video drivers..and I do have the latest. It states the sim will run in software mode it does not run ..Same reults for 2002.Can I go back to DX9a?MB

You cannot uninstall DirectX (any version)(it states so before you install). You would have to reinstall your Windows program in a new directory to get your old version back. After you installed DX9b, did you uninstall and reinstall your video card drivers? You might want to try that before reinstalling your Windows system. Also, do a search here within this forum for DirectX or DX9 and I think you'll find many more suggestions for fixing this problem. I doubt your problem is caused by DX9b. Sorry I can't provide a better solution.Jim Young
