starting a flight with engines stopped

Featured Replies

Hi all..I've got a question for you FS2004 experts out there, after looking for ages, I just can't find the answer. What I want to do is start a flight without the engines already started, so I can go through the startup sequence, etc. I can't find anywhere that tells me how to do this, or if it is even possible. It really bugs me, someone help!-Hareball

What you have to do is create a flight where all the systems are shut down, then actually save that flight. Then, to start a flight with everything powered down, you need to select that saved flight. Otherwise if you just use the normal create flight option, the aircraft will always be ready to fly immediately.
