OK, the Ram Idle keep freezing my computer. so I reverted to ram booster that I have had no problem with Any way.Does anyone have a list of the minimum processes xp will run on?Currently I have 30 running and feel that is a bit much I know of 7 I can get rid of. ctfmon.exe is for Office XP.It will reinstate itself each time you run Office XP but can be turned off before flyinglsass.exe =Local Security Authority SubSystem - do not switch of or XP won't start properly(it won't let you in )Don't know about the rest but have a look athttp://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_pages/startup_full.htmThere is a list of several thousands there for all OS..Dave
