September 2, 200322 yr I have noted download files for A1 aircraft. How can I add A1 aircraft? I noted in the "readme" files for these A1 downloads, that the file is simply placed in the Aircrat folder of FS2004. Is that all there is to it? Is the determination as to what airport these aircraft will be displayed automatically done by FS2004?Thanks,Stanner
September 4, 200322 yr I'm still kind of a rookie at this, but go to the AVSIM file library-"FS2004 Utilities", and download Lee Swordy's Traffic Tools program. As far as I know, it is the only way to add AI aircraft. Put simply, it DECOMPILES 3 files related to AI traffic: AIRCRAFT, AIRPORTS, and FLIGHT PLANS, allowing you to edit them. After making changes, you must save your changes and COMPILE the files. This program is great! And very easy to use. If I can figure it out, anyone can! When you download it, read the "read me" file, and it will tell you everything you need to know!Good Luck! :-beerchug Mike D
September 4, 200322 yr The painless way would be to use ProjectAI's installers. :-)http://fsgateway.com/frank/fs9paibeta.jpg
