September 4, 200322 yr I must say, the original plan was awesome! I wish I had come up with it!! ;-).I have no idea if this is even available but I thought I would play around myself. Anyways - I thought I would use some web skills and see what I could do. I have taken the liberty to add to the original concept by Meatwater. Now, you can view some popular sites and use a text box to enter in URL's to visit. I also changed the "A" image on the kneeboard to a "W" as in "Web".NOTE: I did notice, this works perfectly in Windows mode. When in 3D mode - some of you who may have a lower end system or graphics card, might see the image smear across the window. Some images do not load - depending on the web site. I will look into this more.To install, follow the instructions below. (Zip at bottom of this note)Unzip all files EXCLUDING "btnkbkeycmds.bmp" to your FS9 "aircraft" folder.Unzip "btnkbkeycmds" to "Uires" folder.Enjoy!More updates to come including Save Knee pad to text file for easy referencing.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35073.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35074.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35075.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35076.jpg
September 4, 200322 yr This is great! By the way, those people entering that building look very suspicious to me. Did you call someone?sj
October 8, 200322 yr I followed the instructions and verified that the files were present in the FS 2004 folder after I disabled the original kneeboard file. When I load the sim and load the kneeboard, all I have are the sim commands. What am I doing wrong or what did I do wrong?Frank
