FS2004 Log Book

Featured Replies

Am I the only one having trouble getting the log book to record flight time. As far as I can tell, all entrys in the cfg. file are correct, when I shut down the sim the log book screen shows up with the time. But the next time I start the sim, there is no entry for that flight. Any help will be appriciated. Thanks

I don't know if this is the same problem you are having but FS9 did mess up my logbook once. For some reason FS9 had renamed logbook.log to random characters, both the filename and the entry in the fs9.cfg were changed. All I did was rename the .log file what it should be and change the name in the .cfg file. Then made a manual entry to the logbook in FS9, and all was well again.Maybe your problem is totally diferent but it something to try.Good luck

I've had problems with the logbook (put some ascii characters here) not found when exiting game, if I hadn't opened the logbook during playing. It got annoying I disabled it...

Close FS9 and check FS9.cfg with the line (if your logbook is called logbook.log):LOG_FILE=logbookMake sure there is no extra space characters behind "logbook". I have once encountered a similar problem as yours before.
