level flight

Featured Replies

hello all, i have a 767-200 from opensky, when in level flight i can't get it at around 4/6 degrees nose up , i have tried the trim etc but as soon as i engage the autopilot she's up to 10, is there something i can change in the aircraft cfg that will help it , any help will be most appreciated , thanks . RT

hi,what happens:can the airplane maintain speed,or does it run at full throttle 10 deg nose up?do you loose airspeed?the most common thing with this is that you probably fly at fl370(or higher/lower)with a full fuel load....check your weight versus the altitude:a fully loaded 767-200 cannot cruise at fl370....so start at fl290,or fl310 and then,as you burn fuel and thus loose weight, slowly work your way up,it's called a stepclimb, and most heavies do it like that on long segments.hih
