Problems with water effects

Featured Replies

Hi there,I just got the new MS Flight Simulator 2004 and I got some problems with the water effects settings. The computer does not allow to set water effects to high, always when I klick "OK", the computer resets this setting to "low". It means that the water is completely dark during sunset and sunrise, and there are no reflection effects. My computer has a GeForce II MX Card and about 1300 MHZ.It would be great if anybody could help me.Thank you,Jorin Bonney

The GeForce II/TI and II-MX card does not support water reflections in FS2004, despite it's having supported them in FS2002....... When my 2/TI died, I replaced it with a 4200TI for less than $90--and the 4200TI does support water reflections. The 4200TI is well matched to a system with a speed like your cpu's.-John

Hi John,thanks for your answer.Jorin
