I can't speak to ATI, but I have had no problems with the 5600 ultra with the nvidia 45.23 driver. Because I don't have the higher bus speeds nor the agp 8 capability, I have had to detune fs9 just a tad as suggested in some of the forum discussions.

Well for me it was a toss up I could either buy the FS5600 or the radeon 9600 I chose the 9600 just because in my eyes it is a slighty better card...Plus I dont like the idea of the card haveing to use a extra slot just for cooling and the extra noise.I would suggest you read some reviews about each card and some reviews that compare both cards with the standard tests thats what i did...BTW My last card is a Nvidia gf2 mx-400 and so as not to start the which card is better war again I really took my time to find out about both cards...My 2c
