Best place to get help is the A/C design forum--they are the experts there. I do some painting of my own aircraft, but rarely repaints of others. I tend to design my own aircraft so door lines, control surface lines, etc....are visible via the visual model vs. in the textures. I do this by shrinking the part every so slightly, so there's a slight "gap" just as there would be in real life.Painting door lines onto textures is a broader question--depends on the texture layout, aircraft, etc.... That's why I think the A/C design forum is the place to go :)-John
