September 12, 200322 yr I need help!! After multiple attempts to get fab733v2.zip, Fabrizio Berretta's 737-300 panel working in FS9, having failed due to the MCP readouts not being readable, I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this? I really love this panel and want to be able to use it, but cannot as the autopilot, I don't know what I have selected!! Plus, I have the Freeware FSUIPC installed and in some panels changing IAS and Altitude are in increments of 10kts and 1000ft respectively. Any fix for this?JustinGeforce2 MX400 64 meg running 1280*1024*32AMD 1.2Ghz512meg RAMGetting annoyed at computer, even though is not it's fault!:-newbie
September 12, 200322 yr Justin,I know that in Helio Estrela's 732 panel you have to have a registered copy of FSUIPC and check "Fix Control Acceleration" to be able to select single degrees of heading, single kts, and 100's of feet of altitude in the autopilot. I remember reading somewhere in Fabrizio's docs that it required a certain version of FSUIPC or higher to work in FS2002, so I would imagine the same is true in FS2004. From my experience, it's the same with Helio's 733 and DC-10 panels as well. These guys do great work, I'll agree.Kevin
September 12, 200322 yr Kevin,Thanks for the reply, I can live with having to select headings in 10 degree intervals for the moment, but it is the gauges showing up in fs9 that bugs me the most. Any idea with that one?Justin
September 12, 200322 yr Have to admit I don't know a fix for this one, but, if I remember correctly, I think dynamic ToolTips (or little yellow info boxes - are those ToolTips?) pop up when the mouse is selecting the respective autopilot components, thus serving as a temporary workaround. Memory not good, though. Me need gig or two more in brain.Hope this helps,Kevin
September 12, 200322 yr Try this:Make sure you have fssound.dll in your FS9/modules folder and the corresponding disclaimer (old modules) in your fs9.cfg. As for Helios DC10 panel a/p increments work perfectly once you're airborne. That is without FSUIPC. I haven't tried his 73X panels but I suppose they work the same. Helio has posted updates to all his panels in his site:www.hepanels.vflight.orgHope this helps.Mauricio
