I thought this was supposed to be fixed in FS9. I have loaded up a ton of AI from PAI, but take any major airport...Schiphol for example...and it's almost like a ghost town! A few KLM's here and there...one Transavia... I know we are all waiting for the new AFCAD to come out for better placement, etc., but why aren't the gates full? Thanks!

You kinda answered the question yourself. Default airports dont have many gates available, not even the huge ones like Schiphol (even if they seem to have alot of gates and airways, they arent open). Since you do have some KLM's and such at least the AI file works.So we'll have to wait for AFCAD as you say :)

I think Microsoft keeps the number AI parking spots down to avoid framerate complaints. And with the default AI there really isn't fps-room for much more traffic. Oyvind
