October 10, 201015 yr Hello.Been looking through forums for this but no result so far.Is there a way to make the map click off with the same joystick button/keyboard button? [instead of having to click OK now]I think somebody invented a way in FS9, but do not remember what it was.Regards
October 11, 201015 yr Hi,It's a menu item so there is no keyboard entry for it, so that means it can't be assigned to a joystick/keyboard button.
October 11, 201015 yr Well, you need to assign a button or key to the Views command Map (display/hide). The button or key press will display the map view, but won't hide it again. I tried to assign the ESCape key in FSUIPC to close the map view, but the ESC-key press could not be saved with FSUIPC. If somebody knows how to send the ESC-key to the Map window I guess it might work.
October 11, 201015 yr Yes, its very annoying to have to , click on OK when you are on the go down low at height speed to see your overall location. It would be nice to be able to quickly turn the map off with the same function as you turned it on with.
October 12, 201015 yr Jim is perfectly right. I managed to use FSUIPC to send the ESCape key to FS, but this didn't close the Map window.
