HELP!!!!!!

Featured Replies

I have fs2004, and all of a sudden I cannot run the program. Hwen taking off, it stutters so bad, ot is horrible. I have P4 2.4g with 1 gig mem, 128 geforce 4600ti with the latest drivers, and an audigy2 card with the latest drivers. I am confused. I have reloaded this thing 5 times with no change. What is weird, is that I was able to run the program without any problems before his occured. Any ideas?? I need HELP! Thanks

First step to try--rename FS9.cfg to FS9.old and let FS9 build a new config. If you get no relief from that, remove any add-on scenery and/or dll's that you might have installed in the modules folder. Most important, try to think back to the time between when it was last smooth, and when in started to stutter. Something changed then--something had to. May have had nothing to do with the program--do you know for instance that some computer virus junk written won't always be caught by a virus scanner? Same goes for spyware. If you've completely wiped FS2004 and it's still bad, my guess is something changed on your system...-John

thanks i'll give it a try
