Nowadays my fs9 crashes to black screen every time

Featured Replies

Hello all!I had my fs9 running quite well for a month or so, even in vatsim. Now every single time i try to fly in every single location, it doesn't take more than 5 - 20 minutes till my screen goes black and after a moment the familiar text "fs9 has encountered a problem..." occurs. When i look at the info on the error, there is mostly either util.dll or g2d.dll, and of course i send an error report to MS.My specsxp1700+512mbwin20003dConnect Radeon9600 / 128mbPlease help!

The SAME exact thing happens to me. It irritates the devil out of me. I cannot fathom why it does this....:(

Hi Guys,Could this be the 'Seasonal CTD' problem that has been discussed in a few threads on here recently? Are you guys flying in European/UK areas when this occurs? I have FSGenesis U.S. Landclass and Scenery installed and fly exclusively in the U.S. and never have this problem.Of course it is absurd to think that folks should have to stick to flying only in the USA during the Fall and Winter seasons because of a bug with FS2004! If that is indeed that the problem is. You might want to search the from for 'Seasonal CTD' or 'Seasonal Crash' to see what I am refering to.Regards,Jim

I suppose it could be the seasonal CTD, but I doubt it. I fly almost exclusively out of US airports, KATL, KSEA, KJFK.....all of these airports and many more will cause this.

Well bum deal Fred. :( Let us know if you come up with any clue as to what's causing it.Regards,Jim

Rgr, Wilco.
