September 16, 200322 yr Hi Guys,Has anyone found a way to tame the speed that the King Air taxi's along? With the throttle all the way back, I have to continually apply the brakes - and put the parking brake on or it moves.Oh by the way, if FSUIPC is the answer, don't bother. I can't make head nor tail of the throttle adjustment explanation. I did try it, accepting the 'default' setting. That ended up placing an entry at the very end of the 'FSUIPC.ini' file: "Throttle=-16380,16380" (which I'm not sure was there before). In any case, I changed the -16380 number to -20000 in desperation. That seems to have helped all the other aircraft, but hasn't done a thing for the King Air.So, any thoughts would be welcome. Incidently, you might want to try that 'Throttle' entry if you think your other planes can't seem to idle back enough. I find my big Jets are able to slow down more readily coming in for a landing. Regards, John
September 16, 200322 yr You need to pull the Prop levers (the middle two levers in the throttle quadrant) back to control taxi speed.Cheers,
September 17, 200322 yr Hi SoarPics,Thanks so very much. That did the trick. I was hoping it would be something like that.Regards, John
September 17, 200322 yr HI, I never thought of using the prop levers but I keep the condition levers in low idle for taxi. That works too.
