September 16, 200322 yr Here's one more "bug" in new FS, it seems. When resting at airport and switching to Tower view, I noticed the Tower doesn't seems to originate from where it supposed to be! Instead, the view almost always seems to be from a position opposite that of where the real Tower location is. And this seems to apply to ALL airports I tried so far.Is this really a bug?
September 17, 200322 yr I too noticed our tower here in ABQ was not co-located with the tower view.As far as I can tell, the tower view is just a mid point location on the airport. You can actully drag the tower spot with the mouse on the "Map" view of the airport to the actual location. I have not yet figured out how to "Keep" it there each time you start up FS9.Terry
September 17, 200322 yr When ever you save a flight, and load it back, the view positions and zoom factors will be restored to the settings at the time the flight was saved. Including the tower view.
September 17, 200322 yr I have not yet figured out how to "Keep" it thereeach time you start up FS9.Just enter the Latitude and logitude for the tower on the map view (click the circle for tower on map view). You can get location by slewing your a/c to the tower location (or wherever you want to view from). No need to save flight as the location will be permanent.
