Does anyone know what are the relationship between JAL and JAS?

I believe that JAL has majority ownership in JAS, you'll see their fleets both repainted in the JALWays scheme over time. Al least one A300 already is, and a bunch of JAL's aircraft are.Tim

So, you mean JAL and JAS are 2 separate company? Because there are so many JAL such as JALways, JTA, JAA, HAC, etc... What are those for?
