Hi. the _notes file for the AC 680S gives the max range as 1400NM. I'm having trouble getting even half of that. It's kind of important to me as I'm trying to plan a flight across the South Atlantic.So basically my question is, has anyone actually been able to get over 1000NM range out of the AC680S? If so, then I'm doing something wrong and I'll go back and try again. But if nobody else can do it then I can stop trying.thanks.

Absolutely will do 1400nm no problem at 10,000' or above.You need to reach altitude, pull props back to 2700 RPM, manifold pressure back to 27', and lean for peak EGT -2.You will get the 1400nm plus at least 30 minutes reserve.Have fun :-)Milton
