September 29, 200322 yr Hi allI'm new here so hello to everyone. My problem is this - FS2002 won't see my joystick (original MS Force Feedback)anymore. It used to but had some problems I was trouble shooting late one night and I think I may have deleted something I shouldn't have. The computer can see the joystick and so can CFS and other games. Fs2002 will see and old stick I have but not the Feedback one. Have reinstalled FS2002 and directx is up to date. Has anyone any ideas.CheersCBT.
September 29, 200322 yr This may seem a little obvious but have you installed the software that came with your stick. That sounds like the obvious answer to me, but then again if its a side winder maybe it should just be picked up automatically. You could uninstall the stick from add/remove hardware and then reboot your pc to see if it picks it up.Good LuckWycliffe

September 29, 200322 yr Just a guess, but the problem might be with a bad joystick settings in the fs2002 config file. If you delete the config file(or better, move it somewhere else), Fs2002 should create a new one when you start it. Hopefully it recognises your joystick now.Good luckAllard. September 29, 200322 yr if the above does not work, try to reinstall from the disk(if you got one),reboot, then uninstall it,unplug, reboot again, then try reinstalling once more.hth
